About Rocky Mountain Psychology
Understanding. Relief. Possibility.
Who We Are
Rocky Mountain Psychology is a team of licensed psychologists committed to helping people find relief from suffering and create meaningful change in their lives.
We offer psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families, as well as comprehensive psychological assessment — both in-person and online — to support you in understanding yourself, your relationships, and the world around you in new ways.
Our practice is rooted in the belief that when suffering is understood deeply and compassionately, it begins to shift — making way for new possibilities in how you live, relate, and experience yourself.
Our Philosophy
We approach therapy as a collaborative, human process. Rather than offering quick solutions or surface-level coping skills, we focus on understanding the patterns that keep you feeling stuck — emotionally, mentally, or relationally.
In this space of understanding, suffering becomes workable.
From there, our expert and skilled clinicians help you find your way into new ways of being: ways that feel freer, more vibrant, and more peaceful, even as life continues to change.
Our work is guided by curiosity, experience, expert assessment, and a belief in the capacity for transformation.
We specialize in customized psychotherapy that draws from multiple evidence-based and time-honored traditions, tailored precisely to each person’s needs.
Our clinicians are well-versed in many areas of research and treatment approaches, including:
- Contemporary psychodynamic psychotherapy — exploring how early experiences affect current functioning, especially aspects outside of awareness
- Mindfulness-based interventions — evidence-based practices rooted in ancient traditions for alleviating suffering
- Family systems theory — understanding relational patterns as interconnected systems to address stuckness and build closeness
- Other relevant approaches — integrated as needed to further your specific treatment
How We Work
This depth and breadth of expertise allows us to address complex psychological problems with a high degree of precision and efficacy. Our developmental and psychologically informed perspective extends to both our therapy and assessment work—we understand that people are complex, shaped by experiences across the lifespan, and that meaningful change requires accounting for both what’s visible and what lies beneath the surface.
We understand that choosing a therapist or pursuing an evaluation is an important decision—one that involves both emotional vulnerability and a meaningful investment of time and resources. Our years of training and experience allow us to guide you through this process with both skill and care.
Clients often come to us for support with:
- Anxiety, depression, and burnout
- Relationship and communication challenges
- Loss, transition, or life changes

Every person’s experience is unique, and we take the time to understand yours fully—helping you move toward relief, clarity, and genuine growth.
Our Team
Each clinician at Rocky Mountain Psychology brings a deep commitment to their own ongoing learning and development. We value striking the balance between our compassion and our skill —a combination that allows you to feel safe enough to open up when you’re ready, and that allows us to accompany and guide you to the change that you’re longing for.
Why People Choose Rocky Mountain Psychology
People often come to us when they’ve tried to manage their difficulties on their own, or in other therapies, and want to understand more deeply—and change more effectively—what’s happening within and around them.
They’re seeking not just symptom relief, but a shift — a way to live that feels more connected and at ease, and less chaotic and unsettling.
They also value working with clinicians who bring both deep expertise and genuine care to their work—professionals with the clinical judgment and experience to hold complexity, whether in therapy or assessment, and to provide guidance that accounts for the whole person rather than reducing them to symptoms or scores.
